Hiring – Permanent – Portable Restroom Operator

Huron Toilet Rentals provides portable toilet rentals for construction sites and special events, throughout Huron County. We are a small family-owned business operating out of Goderich, On.

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and self-motivated person to take on this primary operator position. It is your responsibility to complete the provided route each week in a timely manner.

Must be okay with changes made to the provided route throughout the week to accommodate new rentals.
Strong attention to detail is required to ensure units are cleaned to our customers standards and repairs are completed as needed to keep units in good working order.
Training will be provided.

• Operate company truck with PTO vacuum tank and pressure washer
• Keep service vehicle organized and stocked with necessary supplies daily
• Complete a weekly route which includes:
  
  • Daily Truck pre-trip circle checks, fuel logs
  • Daily Fuel logs
  • Daily Maintenance of truck included: cleanliness and ensuring stocked up for the following day
  • Cleaning/disinfecting units and topping up required supplies
  • Completing deliveries and pick-ups as needed
•  Maintenance on porta potties as needed
• Assist with inventory of portable toilets as well as cleaning supplies
• Performs other duties as needed
• Significant amount of the day is spent working and driving alone

• G License
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds
• Follow safe working procedures
• Must Obtain Certificate of Driver Training for Waste Management Systems (C12)
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions
• Mechanical knowledge
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail
• Strong sense of direction
• Ability to use a phone or tablet for GPS, time tracking and emails
• Previous portable restroom experience is an asset but not required
• Previous experience driving a truck and trailer preferred

Monday to Friday 7:30 am – 5:30 pm
November – April – approx. 20-30 hrs per week
May – October – 35-40 hrs per week

Salary to Start: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour
