We at Encore Group have been an affiliate OASIS member since 2016, and in that time we have been consistently impressed with the level of communication, and member engagement that OASIS and it’s Board have put forth in an effort to provide strong value and a sense of community for each of the members and affiliate members. Throughout this time, we have been given opportunities to engage membership through participation in various events, which include the Annual Conference and OASIS golf tournament which have allowed us to develop business and personal relationships, greatly assisting us in our goal to become a professional resource that is uniquely positioned to provide insurance products and expertise that are specifically tailored to the needs of OASIS members.

The Board’s consistency in delivering educational tools and devoted member outreach (which include an excellent newsletter publication) are a big reason that we believe OASIS has continued to be a top tier industry association that provides a tremendous value proposition to its membership. We would strongly encourage any prospective members to join OASIS and embrace the networking and educational opportunities that they provide.

PolyJohn Canada has been a part of OASIS since 1991, and I personally have thoroughly enjoyed my time being a part of this organization.

OASIS is a great team to be a part of as they have a lot of up-to-date information to share with their members, as well as training sessions on various topics to help obtain a greater level of experience and knowledge. Their conventions and meetings are a great way to meet suppliers, customers and other people working in the same industry. I have found OASIS to be a community of like-minded people whose main goal is to help each other succeed. I have been able to connect with so many people from various aspects of our industry and have thus been able to share and expand my knowledge and expertise.

Being a member of OASIS has had many advantages over the last 25 years. As a business owner, having all COVID-19 updates, guidelines and financial resources provided by email has been a huge time saver. OASIS is constantly working hard to change industry guidelines and keeps us informed of new and ever-changing regulations. One of the most valuable assets of being a member is the training and certification programs OASIS organizes and provides for our employees. Another wonderful benefit is having the ability to ask other members for advice or assistance if we find ourselves in unfamiliar territory. I would highly recommend joining OASIS if you like staying informed, having a vast amount of information at your fingertips and of course networking within the membership community.
