PROPOSED CHANGES - PART 8 OF THE BUILDING CODE - MINISTRY OF MUNICIPAL AFFAIRS & HOUSING (MMAH)
On February 15, 2008, the Ministry of Municipal Affairs & Housing (MMAH) released information regarding proposed chagnes to Part 8 of the Buildign Code pertaining to Area Bed Size and the Re-Inspection programs for on-site sewage systems.
The Ministry of Municipal Affairs & Housing (MMAH) has asked for your participation in the consultation process. Comments on the proposed technical and administrative changes to Part 8 of the Building Code must be submitted by May 1, 2008 through the MMAH website (www.ontario.ca/buildingcode) email, surface mail, or fax.
OASIS is putting together a position paper regarding the proposed changes. If you would like to contribute your comments to the paper, please forward them to the OASIS office via fax or email by April 17th, 2008.
OASIS will be inviting Mr. James Douglas, Manager of Code Legislation and Appeals to our OASIS Rural Waste Water Treatment Expo on October 23, 2008 to update our members on his report.
