Biography: Mark Brosowski
Weber Septic Service
Hello, I am Mark Brosowski the owner and operator of Weber Septic Service. I have been working in our industry for over 25 years. My company currently employs 14 people and we operate five vacuum trucks, excavators, backhoes, a VacCon truck, and four specialized service trucks.
We operate out of Breslau (approximately 80 km west of Toronto), primarily in the Regions of Waterloo, Halton and Peel, and in the Counties of Wellington, Dufferin and Perth. I have been a longtime member of OASIS and I welcome the opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors.
Over the years I have watched the Association grow in members, become a stronger voice in our industry, and face head-on the regulatory agencies impacting our lively-hood. I personally have benefited from the services and support of the Association when my company was having incredible difficulties with disposal issues and our local government authorities. OASIS responded quickly and effectively. They attended meetings on my behalf for which I have always been grateful. OASIS was the backing I needed when things were getting rough.
Our Members know that change is coming, and that at the outcome our industry will look quite different. I believe that there is now technology available that can satisfy environmental issues as well as allow us haulers to stay in business.
I believe that we need a strong Association to bring awareness of these technologies to our regulating authorities. The Association needs to be on the front line so that it can give strong input and help direct regulatory policies in a way that will benefit our Members. I welcome the challenge of being part of that team.
