Biography: Chris Aitkin
Hamilton and Burlington Area
I was nominated to the board of directors for the first time this year. I am pleased to be able to serve on the board for the next two year term.
My family has been in the Waste disposal industry in the Hamilton, Burlington area for some 40 years.
Having worked part time in the industry for the last 10 years I decided to make the family business my full time career two years ago. I have taken the installers course at Guelph University and subsequently passed the Provincial exam.
Previous to this I worked in transportation within the food service industry, managing a fleet of delivery trucks and various safety related duties.
I am looking forward to this new endeavor, seeing how the organization works, and how we can benefit as a whole within our industry.
